Pollution: What are the effects?

One thing I am concerned about is the pollution, or the people polluting our Earth. It may not seem like that big of a deal, but it has become a bigger problem over time. For example, you can get a ticket for littering these days. That has to say something, right? Obviously it does not say enough because I still see trash throughout the streets.
It does not just involve the trash on the ground, but the fumes from our cars. Luckily, that is being worked on.
Do you ever notice how everything is about recycling or going green? Maybe you have noticed the commercials about the polar bears. They are trying to get you to realize that the ozone layer is growing thinner. All these things are hazardous to the ozone layer. It that does not mean anything to you, think of the polar bears. All the ice is melting and polar bears need the cold climate.
So maybe you can recycle a few papers, cans, or plastics. You could even walk to places nearby or carpool with a coworker to work, instead of driving. There are easy solutions to the pollution problem it is just taking the first step, that is the hardest. Once you do, it is all easy from there! Think of all the polar bears or penguins you could be saving.
