With an ad like this, who would not want a Snuggie Blanket?! A Snuggie is a blanket that has sleeves that let you use your hands while keeping you warm at the same time. Available in many different colors, prints and sizes (now made for dogs), the Snuggie Blanket became a popular gift for the holiday season.

While visiting my grandma over winter break, I noticed that she had a zebra print Snuggie. At first I had laughed at the idea of the blanket. Who would really want a blanket with sleeves? Although being skeptical at first, I gave it a try. Sitting down, I felt as if I had a regular blanket on. Then, Grandma called me over to look at some pictures. I got up, walked over to the couch and started glancing through picture album. With a regular blanket, I would have had to remove it from my lap, and bring it with me to the couch. With the Snuggie, however, I simply had to get up and walk over to the couch. Not only is it convenient, it also keeps you pretty warm.

Sure, some Snuggie Blankets look weird. They have goofy prints and some might even call them pointless. But, as the ad suggests, the Snuggie Blanket keeps you cozy and warm, yet allows you the freedom to use your hands.
