Zombieland Movie Review

Faster than you can imagine, a virus hits the earth. This virus turns everyone into zombies if they are bitten. In order to survive, you must fight for your life. This may seem like a scary thrill, but for the movie Zombieland this is not the case. Zombieland was made as a comedy, one that did not make me laugh.

The movie is a knock off of the movie I Am Legend. Only instead of being a lonely man fighting to find a cure for the virus, the people in this movie have different goals. One guy is trying to get to Columbus to see if his family is okay. Two sisters are trying to get to a theme park where they believe no zombies will be at. And the other man is just searching for revenge and killing them like crazy.

During this movie I literally laughed twice, at the exact same line! This line is said in the beginning and the end. Other than those two times the only thoughts that went through my mind is that the movie is pointless and gory. Gory doesn’t bother me in movies, but this one was a tad over the top.

This movie was advertised to be way better than it was. I did not enjoy this movie.
