Paranormal Activity: Movie Review

Recently I went to see Paranormal Activity with three of my friends, all girls. We walked into the theater, and we were already scared just from what others had told us about the movie. Worried about what was to come, we took our seats. Sitting in this theater I began to have mixed feelings about this movie.

I did not know anything about the movie. I had just heard the words from people that, “It is simply messed up!” It started out slow but then it got a little more interesting and slightly more terrifying with every night scene in the movie. That is when the scary scenes happen. The young couple in the film made the day scenes very awkward, but still funny with their little fights. It was humorous with how the boyfriend was a sarcastic jerk toward his girlfriends “demon.”

I went in scared and came out terrified. The movie was good. I really liked how the scary scenes built up for the ending. I also liked how the day scenes were not scary. It gave me a chance to relax after being scared!
