Breakfast Dilemma


It is said that breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Studies show students who tend to eat breakfast in the morning pay more attention during school. They’ll be less likely to fall asleep at any moment and it gives them more energy to last until the next eating period. It also goes the same way for adults.

When you skip breakfast your brain is low on fuel that helps you get through the day. You can eat a candy bar or something but that will only work for a few minutes then you are tired and once again out of energy.

Many people skip breakfast to lose weight which it is not healthy for your body in the long run. The body expects to have food to be refueled a few times a day. In the end your body uses the fats that you store to feed your body and you do not lose weight, it makes you gain it instead.

So be smart and eat breakfast! You are benefiting yourself for the rest of the day. To stay awake and do well in school you should eat breakfast. Not just any breakfast though, a good healthy one including whole grains, proteins, and fibers. Stay away from sugar in the mornings because they are digested quickly and will leave you hungry later on.
